In the first interview, the subject said that one time when she was ten, she went “skinny dipping” (swimming naked) with all the Negro boys in an abandoned quarry. The subject then asked repeatedly if the interviewer was horrified by that. The subject proclaimed it was true what they said about Negroes.^[3]

How did you learn about sex?

In the first interview, the subject said that her preacher father sat her down and taught her the Satanist doctrine; that all sex is evil in the eyes of God unless you are fated to have sex. Lucifer provides humans with moments where we are fated to have sex, like a marriage or when both parties really have chemistry. Only a true member of Lucifer's Elite, like him, can really know when people are fated to have sex.

In the second interview, the subject said her preacher father also taught her that Negroes carry many venereal diseases. Though she scoffed at this, the subject is often worried she caught something. However, sometimes she is titillated by the idea she caught syphilis from a Negro.

When did you first learn about homosexuality?

In the first interview, the subject said in that same talk, her preacher father said that men and men and women and women are never fated to have sex, so sex between them is always wrong. Family members might be fated to have sex, as well as people married to other people, but never homosexuals.

In the second interview, the subject said she wondered who she could be fated to have sex with, since she felt neither man nor woman. Her father had said that Whites are not fated to have sex with Blacks, but she wondered if that was her fate.

What were your sexual fantasies as a teen-ager?

In the first interview, the subject said she fantasized about making love to a long line of Negroes, each of whom she knows personally and well.

In the second interview, the subject said she fantasizes about being chosen by Lucifer as his bride, though she says she imagined the White Lucifer that the Negro denominations worshiped, and not the Black Lucifer of the White denominations.

How did you lose your virginity?

In the first interview, the subject said when she was turned sixteen years old, the subject’s father insisted that she was going to be born again to Lucifer as a virgin sacrifice. The subject did not want to die. So the subject went to her sweetheart, who was the son of the preacher at the Negro Satanist church, and they lost their virginity together. The subject’s father had to cancel the plans for the sacrifice. After that, the subject moved to Washington D.C to live with her aunt and her aunt’s Negro husband.

In the second interview, the subject said her father raped her before the revival could take place. He told her he did this because he loved her too much.

What do you think about when you touch yourself?

In the first interview, the subject said she thinks about her neighbor, Mrs. Eight, when she touches herself. The subject finds this strange, since Mrs. Eight is not her normal type. But the subject says she is an open-minded person who can fall in love with White women as well as Negro men. The subject feels she is fated to have sex with Mrs. Eight, but she also feels she should follow Greek Orthodox norms and not do this. The subject does felt like if she did committed adultery again, her husband would forgive her.

In the second interview, the subject said she suspects that Mrs. Eight is a Negro. The subject also feels also that Mrs. Eight does not fit into the two sexes, though Mrs. Eight is very feminine.

How do you feel about your parents now?

In the first interview, the subject said she is glad that she is free from her father. The subject is proud of herself for escaping from him and coming to the big city of Washington D.C. all by herself. The subject mentioned that Mrs. Eight also left her home as a teen-ager to work a customer service job somewhere else.

In the second interview, the subject said she has nightmares about her father. The nightmares have been getting worse ever since she came to this camp in Appalachia.

Do you feel you married the right person?

In the first interview, the subject said that though her marriage with her husband is not a love match on her part, she respects him very much. The subject said that, though her husband is Greek, he does not hate Negroes like many other immigrants. The subject is grateful that her husband forgave her for her recent adultery. The subject enjoys the comfortable home her husband has given her.

In the second interview, the subject said that before she married her husband, she was in a relationship with a Negro waiter. He had impregnated her and they planned to be married in DC where it is legal; but then she miscarried so he did not want to marry her anymore. The subject wishes they could have gotten married, but she understands why he would not want to bother anymore.

Do you ever wish you were the husband?

In the first interview, the subject said she would like to try out being a man sometime. But her husband is not the man she would try to be.

In the second interview, the subject said she wishes when people looked at her, they had no idea whether she was a man or a woman, a Negro, or a White, or an Oriental. The subject said she wished when people saw her, they were angry because they could not categorize her.
