What is "The Spartan Housewives of NoVa"?

"The Spartan Housewives of NoVa" is a serial semi-epistolary novel by Gabriel Talman that was launched in February 9, 2026. It is about an alternate history 1953 where the CIA decides to masculinize a group of twelve housewives as part of their Project Sparta. The story will be told via narrative chapters and via journals, letters, transcripts, and other written documents from the characters involved. The first two acts are free to read but you will need to subscribe for subsequent acts and bonus.

"The Spartan Housewives of NoVa" will have characters use foul language, outdated historical terms, and on some occasions slurs.
