Excerpt from OK Boomer, Episode 11

OK, BOOMER - EXCERPT FOR EPISODE 11

Interior: A hotel room decorated for a birthday party. The puppet, BOOMER, is holding a RAINBOW-COLORED wrapped box.

BOOMER

I hope NUKE likes my present. She is one hard gal to please. I don't know where I stand with her some days. I don't think she knows how hard it is to be a man always trying to please his woman. {sighs} But I reckon she must like my present. It's something she's been needing.

The puppet NUKE enters the hotel room. BOOMER holds out the present to her.

BOOMER

Happy birthday, Nuke!

NUKE

Aw, man, you shouldn't have!

BOOMER passes the present to NUKE.

BOOMER

Glad you're happy! I was afraid the present would BOMB.

NUKE starts shaking and drops the present.

NUKE

{Screaming} A BOMB? NOOOOOOO!

NUKE runs off-screen and returns with a little GOLF CLUB. She starts hitting the box with it.

BOOMER

{Screaming} NO! IT'S NOT A BOMB! IT'S A VACCINE FOR THE COWPOX! YOU DESTROYED IT! NOW YOU’LL GET COWPOX!

NUKE stops hitting the box.

NUKE

Not the deadly COWPOX! Anything but that!

NUKE starts shaking again. She starts shaking and shaking until she ducks downstage and returns as a puppet without cow spots.

BOOMER

THIS IS NOT OKAY!

NUKE

Actually, I kind of like this look.
